Verifying your identity online with us just got easier.

We now work with ConnectID®, a new service that lets you verify your identity using an organisation you already trust. It means that you only share the information that’s needed, when it’s needed, giving you more control over how your personal information is used and shared.

How does it work?

You will see ConnectID as an option the next time you sign up for Proffer™. It's simple to use, with no need to sign up for or download another app. Here's how it works:

  1. Select 'Verify with ConnectID'
  2. Choose a trusted organization, like your bank, to share your information.
  3. You'll be redirected to your Identity Provider platform to authenticate yourself. Review the information being requested and provide your consent. This may include your full name, address, email, and phone number.
  4. You will then be redirected back to Proffer™ to complete the sign-up process.

All done! With ConnectID, you are always in control of where and when your personal information is shared. ConnectID manages the data transfer without ever seeing or storing your data.

Simply select 'Verify with ConnectID' and within a few clicks, you will be able to verify your identity using an organisation you already trust. ConnectID is not an app, so there is no separate account to set up.

With ConnectID, you get to choose which organisation you use to prove your identity, and you will always be asked to provide your consent ahead of any information being shared, so you’re always in control of your data.
